Dear Mayor and Council Members,

I have been a Jersey City resident since 1998 and a city property owner for 22 years. Our city, over the past few years, has become less and less livable. From the cross-town traffic (particularly on weekend afternoons) to the lack of adequate resident parking, from the reduction of local police patrols to the increase in parking authority ticketers, from the constant delivery-package theft to the dangerous scooters ignoring rules of the road or sidewalk, from the ubiquitous retail space closures to the lack of even the most basic amenities within a reasonable distance for too many residents.

It's a shame that so few of these issues are being addressed by city leadership.

Sincerely,

Alfred C. Martino
